Allow yourself to take time and study/practice your craft. Your greatest work/idea can come from inner self
"Inner Me!", 16x20
"Inner Me!" captured my emotional phase I was going through coming out as a gay man.
Each color represent a different emotion. Starting off from the bottom then going up:
"Blue" represents "Sad/Depression"- I was depressed at the beginning stage of coming out. Didn't have nobody to talk to, nor was I in a completely sure on who would all accept me. However, I realized I needed to come out or I wouldn't be completely honest with myself.
The lines you see within the blue section shows the misguidance, misleading, and the Confusion I went through.
"RED" represent "Anger"- I was not mad at myself or held any kind of anger towards my choice of lifestyle. I was more angered at certain people who stopped loving me or accepted my lifestyle. It just made me realized the truth in the words "Some people are 'Seasonal', not permanent. " After realizing that, I stopped holding on to the anger, and moved on to the next color.
"Yellow" represents "Happiness"-After getting over the Depression and Anger, knowing who really care/there for me, and started accepting more of the Gay lifestyle...I started feeling happy with myself.
"White" represents "Pure"- When I started feeling comfortable with everything. I finally found peace within myself.

While making this outfit, I said "This got to be done at the beach, no colored background." This was a good decision. The model was perfect, the natural lighting was perfect, and outfit was perfectly made. Once when we wrapped up the photo shoot, me and Bry just knew these photos were something special. I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoy creating this!
